Ok this one is supposed to be a post about technology. I've been thinking a lot about this recently. Most of my feeling seem to be summed up in two sentences - "I love technology - you can do the most amazing things" and "Now how the hell do I get away from it?".
I've really enjoyed looking at the things we are asked to do for the 23 things, but there are times when I look at what I think I should be doing in my job, what I need to do, what I should be looking for / learning / understanding and the time and resources available and wonder how in heaven's name I'm going to keep up. Things seem to keep moving faster and faster. So I think technology is a wonderful and terrible thing at the same time. It's also forced me to think about things differently and to deliberately choose to take my life in a different direction from what I expected. And don't ask me for details - I'm not going to give any.

23 Things - Thing 6
I've been looking the mashups and 3rd party sites and I think the site I enjoyed the most was the FD Flickr Toys site because there were so many interesting things to do. I loved some of the frames you could put on your photo, the idea of the trading cards (I'm working out what kind I want to create) and I thought that the Bead Art sounded pretty good too. I also intend to make a slide show of the photos of my trip last year and send it to my sister to torture her.
